I finished the book a month ago.
Then started on a new one -South of the Border, West of the Sun.
I think i should give him a rest or i fear i will soon have nothing new to read of Murakami.
Any suggestions? Favorites?
Someday i'l make a list of my favorites in exchange or just to put it out there. :D
For now, i'm off to watch the WC opening. Anyone else?
Have a wonderful weekend.
I have a very similar picture, but different book of him :) mmm, i always try to recommend the magnificent Penelope Fitzgerald and her The Beginning of Spring, or The Collector of John Fowles, The master of Toibin, or, mmm, The Hare with the Amber Eyes of Edmund de Waal… so many amazing books :)

DeleteI read Norwegian woods sometime ago. Although captivating but it was kind of depressing. So i didn't go much for Murakami's books. But i want to read south of border. Right now I am reading Madame Bovary. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy sister found it depressing too:)
DeleteI've been putting off Madame B for a while now.(though i have the book:D).

DeleteUsually it only hits me until I'm nearing the end of the last book of any author I'm fond enough to read more than once.. but yes, I agree. :)
ReplyDeleteThe light and shadows are amazing.
